Hi friends,
I’m traveling this week (more on that later), so I thought it might be fun to take a little break and turn it over to you lovely folks. So here’s my question for you, as we come to the final weeks of spring:
What are your favorite discoveries from this season?
Interpret this however you’d like and share with all of us in the comments!
Maybe it’s something you’ve learned about yourself, or a new habit or practice you’ve adopted.
Maybe it’s a book you loved, a place you visited, an artist you learned about, a newsletter you started reading, a recipe you tried, something you sewed, a hobby you picked up.
Or maybe it’s something very simple, like a new pair of shoes you love.
Share with all of us in the comments, and read what everyone else has loved this spring. Maybe you’ll make even more new discoveries before the season ends.
A few of my favorite discoveries this spring:
I’ll start us off with a few things I’ve learned about over this season:
I found a new structure for my day that gives me more time for creative work and better boundaries around work and rest.
I started using active questions as a daily journaling practice, which has helped me gently guide myself toward healthier behaviors.
Browsing the 10,000+ objects in the Cooper Hewitt wallcoverings collection has been so inspiring. So much color and pattern inspiration!
The amazing paper cut work of artist Louis Saugy. Via illustrator Rebecca Green: “Louis Saugy was a Swiss artist born in 1871. His work celebrated the method of Scherenschnitte or paper cutting, which was developed in Germany and Switzerland in the 16th century. Born near Château-d’Œx, his work beautifully depicted the seasons and daily life of his surroundings.”
This Etsy shop full of Japanese craft books.
I’m going to stop there, because I need to get back to my vacation. But I want to hear from you now!

My favourite discovery this spring is asking active questions.
And you, Sarai. I have learned so much from 'Making Time'!
My favorite discovery is Julia Louis Dreyfuss's podcast Wiser Than Me , where she interviews well known "old ladies" and they share the wisdom they've gained over long lifetimes... Jane Fonda & Diane Von Furstenburg to name a few, along with author Isabel Allende, whose books have captured my attention.
Also... I'm late to the game with this one, but I've discovered the joy of the Libby app!
