I've actually got a pair of overalls on my want-to-make list for this very reason, but it's more likely I'll be loafing in them.

I actually save all my not so great pants projects for gardening! Those French gardening clothes look like what I’d wear out for dinner! But I do agree about the overalls. That’s why I made mine, ‘cause I got tired of pulling my pants up all the time after I bend over, esp with muddy hands. The real problem is, my sewing of special gardening clothes would take up all the time I’m supposed to be gardening.
