What an amazing studio!!! It’s so cute tucked up in the trees like that. I have also been obsessed with Swedish interiors lately and I’ll be so interested to see how you decorate the space.
First, I just want to say that I've enjoyed your newsletter. Second, I have been meaning to ask whether you were in 4-H. I'm curious because the heading "Head, Heart, Hands" includes 3 of the 4 words that the H's stand for. (The 4th one is health, which I feel fits in well with your newsletter too.) Being in 4-H is also how I learned to sew.
I love the idea of a wall quilt or quilt blocks! Do you embroider or cross stitch? I’ve been working on a series of embroidery featuring plants and flowers for wall decor and I could see something similar working well to adorn the walls of your sewing shack 💕
Thank you for sharing! My studio/sewing space is in progress after insulation; waiting for windows now. I am trying to be mindful of reconstructing the space so that it stays usable and is easier to function in. I love your shed/retreat ideas. Thank you, as always, for the wonderful links and suggestions. I discover so much through these and the Seamwork spots. I am looking forward to watching your space evolve!
I am still looking for the perfect flat woven rug for my sewing space - pins just LOVE pile rugs.
A must for me is also a full length mirror so I can try on garments as I make them, although my new house is more compact, so I no longer have to climb three flights of stairs to my mirror!
I have an industrial sewing light over my machine, as I need the extra light due to vision issues. They're not too expensive, and as they are LED they don't add to the heat in summer. I'm planning on getting another one for my overlocker, since the layout of my new space has changed.
Awesome Sarai!!! But one thing - what Flooring have you selected? I love it and am personally on a quest to find some new flooring at the moment, so I dialed in on that particular component but don't see it listed ... Thanks again! Inspirational, for sure.

That Van Gogh advice is so good!

Your shed is looking gorgeous!
